Why Work at the Trust?

WHAT MAKES RMAT DIFFERENT?

Thriving Educators, Inspired Learners:

We foster a work environment that ignites passion in both educators and students. Our academies are built on the belief that engaged teachers create empowered learners.

Freedom to Flourish:

The RMAT curriculum provides exceptional flexibility for both students and teachers. Students explore a diverse range of subjects, alongside those within the National Curriculum, from skiing and water sports to gardening and architecture, igniting their unique passions.

Teacher Empowerment:

At RMAT, we celebrate individuality. Great teachers aren't defined by a single approach, but by their ability to achieve outstanding results for their students. We empower educators to design lessons tailored to their unique strengths and their students' needs. Our enthusiastic and inspiring teaching staff fosters resilience in students through our innovative Resilience Curriculum.

A Collaborative Community:

RMAT is a thriving network of six schools across Yorkshire, with ambitious plans for expansion. Our academies share resources, collaborate on projects, and unite as a community of educators dedicated to transforming education.

The Trust fully supports a work-life balance ethos.  Management takes time to ensure happiness at work.

Being given the right amount of PPA time to plan and mark to a high standard. The coaching model is very supportive and gives you the opportunity to develop. PD is an excellent behaviour system.

PD. I don't think I could ever work in a school that didn't run PD and centralised detentions etc. I also enjoy the ability to share experiences across trust without the expectation that we are all rigid copies of one another.

Professional development through the coaching model. Teacher freedom. Supportive colleagues. High standards for staff and students - helping teachers to be the best they possibly can be.

Every day is different in supporting young people to be better than the day before.

Freedom to teach as an individual.  SLT that have experience appropriate for their roles.  A concrete behavioural system that allows you to focus on teaching.

Good morale and focus on the wellbeing of students and staff.
